Devin Cremer was born in Southeastern Pennsylvania toward the end of the Cold War. He grew up on a wooded property along the Schuylkill river, where his dad taught him the basics of outdoorsmanship. He’s been building fires, whittling sticks, and navigating the woods since he was old enough to walk.

He graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video in 2011, before accidentally moving to New York City in 2014.

Since moving to New York, Devin has worked in a variety of roles, starting off as a Production Assistant, then Camera Assistant, and eventually into larger roles as a lighting technician and Camera Operator. He prides himself in being a Jack of all Trades, and master of none.

He is happiest with a camera in hand and something meaningful to point it at. The most significant work of his career was between 2016 and 2020 when he was tasked with overhauling the look and feel of George to the Rescue on NBC, a non-scripted, 30-minute documentary series that brought together designers and contractors to renovate the homes of deserving families across the country. The show was nominated for a National Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Lifestyle Category three times, and won twice.

He lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Nicole and his dog, Molly.

Work Philosophy

I do not work cheap on a tight deadline.
I do not work fast with a limited budget.
I do not submit anything less than my best work. Period.
